House finches: mom and baby.
A pair of house finches has nested on top of a lantern near my window, and the chicks appeared a few days ago. The father fed the mother during the incubation time, and now he feeds both the mother and the chicks. Mom leaves the nest rarely and for short time only. The chick is now about 5 days old.
The conditions for photographing are very bad, but it is very interesting to observe the life of the family.
