Cedar Waxwings are beautiful birds that arrive to the Mid-Atlantic states in numbers in mid-to-late May, though some may winter when berry crops are available food sources. They are very nomadic birds and are late nesters.
We enjoyed this bird and its mate seemingly “setting up shop” in a pine tree in our yard.
