This was at the beginning of the May 15, 2022, total lunar eclipse. The sky was cloudy at the horizon as the moon rose, so all I could see of the moon was the 10 or 15% of it that was not yet at totality. This photo was made around eight minutes after moonrise. By the time of totality the moon was completely hidden by clouds.
Nikon D850, AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR, 1/160 second, ISO 500, f/4, exposure compensation -2/3 stop.
I cropped the image slightly and made minor exposure compensations in Adobe Bridge.
