Galileo satellite in blue sky
Every time I look at Jupiter's four big moons - Galilean moons - it looks like Jupiter with four little guys. It's fun and cute!
Recently, during the process of filming the Venus-Jupiter conjunction, if there is a chance (though not many!), I will use a long lens to see these little guys again. Venus, Jupiter, and Galileo's moons were again photographed in the early morning light on May 7. The Galileo satellites are lined up in a straight line this time, and they are even cuter in the faint blue sky.
If you know that the Galileo satellites are only 5-6 magnitudes, it is even more amazing that they can be photographed in the blue sky!
