The orchid has opened all 5 flowers since the first one a week ago.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers past, present and future! And also to our collective Mother of all life - Planet Earth!

On a side note while staring at these blossoms, my imagination gets going and I'm seeing not flowers but little hungry alien chicks stretching their necks with open beaks clamoring to be fed. Cheeky, beaky little buggers aren't they? Lol!
