Aldebaran and Pleiades after Volcanic Sunset. An hour after sunset on Tuesday the red giant Aldebaran (which is the brightest star in the constellation Taurus) and the Pleiades (Seven Sisters) star cluster were photographed near Transmitter Hill above the strange magenta glow of a residual volcanic sunset twilight arch.
