Dawn has arrived after a long night of stargazing and astrophotography in The Last Chance Desert of Utah. I took several hundred images between 2 DSLR Canons, 1 Sony Mirrrorless A7s and my surprisingly up to par for astro-imaging Google Pixel 4 XL cell phone. At about 5:45 the hint of dawn was signaling the end of a beautiful moonless dark sky imaging session. But wait! It's not over yet as Venus, Saturn and Mars now have a turn in the wee hours of the morning.
Venus, Saturn and Mars are bottom center of the image as the Milky Way fades away in the top right. I can't hardly wait for the end of April for the next new moon phase and and perhaps another session under the stars in the desert.
