Venus just before sunrise. A bit blurry due to turbulence. Venus is so bright, it's easier to see the crescent late in twilight. The blue sky doesn't show up due to the short exposure. Canon XS exposure of 1/1250 seconds at ISO 800.

Canon XS looking through my 200 dobsonian reflecting telescope at prime focus. Prime focus is when I replace the eyepiece with the camera. To use the camera with the telescope, I have to add a barlow lens because otherwise the dobsonian/camera system won't reach focus.
