The sun rising from the east of Singapore this morning and seen behind these block of flats. The sun direction was 108.74° ESE↑ and altitude at -2.71° . Though the sun was about 147.286 million km away when I took this photo, it seems near to us due to its size in comparison with the objects in the foreground. The next Equinox is on 20 Mar 2022 23:33 (March Eq.). Herhe altitude in Singapore, the day and night are more less being equal with the sun rising later at 7.15 am and setting almost exactly 12 hours later at 7.15 pm.

Sun altitude refers to the angle of the sun relative to the Earth's horizon. Because it is an angle, we measure the altitude in degrees and the value varies throughout the day, the time of the year and latitude on Earth. As the sun was shrouded in clouds, it was fine to see it for a few seconds as the glare was very minimal.
