Taken about 1 hour after sunset. It is rare to get a totally clear western horizon in December here in the greater-Vancouver area. The 3 planets looked awesome (...with the fact that Saturn was almost exactly between the 2 brighter planets making it look even more pretty. [Note: Saturn was easier to see naked-eye than what this photo suggests]). It is neat to see how far apart Jupiter and Saturn have traveled, considering that it was almost exactly 1 year ago when they were right next to each other (...seen from Earth's line-of-sight).
