A friend and I drove about 90 minutes away from the bright city lights in search of darker skies to catch the peak of the Geminid Meteor shower. I couldn't believe how many meteors we saw in the 2 hours we spent with our cameras and tripods at a lighthouse in Heislerville, New Jersey. We are having a mild winter so far, which made this meteor shower even more enjoyable!
