Comet 29 P (Schwassmann-Wachmann 1)is normally faint but in recent weeks has had an outburst due to vaporizing carbon monoxide in its crust. It is still too faint to be seen without a telescope but can easily be imaged in small telescopes.

Comet 29 P (Schwassmann-Wachmann 1) Imaged with Canon T7 and C11 at F /6.3 at 5:15 UT on 10.7.21 at 10 X 30 seconds.
