Another one of my "exploration" trips around the Spanish countryside. In the province of Soria I found this beautiful sea of blooming sunflowers surrounded by these wind turbines giving it an interesting contrast to the sight. Being a rural area the sky is very clear (Bortle class 2). At this location with the naked eye it is possible to see the galactic center with great detail. This is another place worth visiting if you ever come to Spain.
In the photograph you can clearly see Jupiter (center near the horizon), Saturn (around 30 degrees to the right) and the classic Andromeda galaxy (beside the wind turbine to the left)
Thank you!

This photograph is a composite of 2 photographs, one for the sky with the milky way arch and the other for the foreground. PS was used to blend both photographs. Both images taken the same day.
