Although the picture does not make justice to the magnificence of the real thing, I think it's pretty. We were in the middle of the desert, in the Cuatro Ciénegas Basin, with a rare cloudy sky, as we do not get much rain around, and suddenly, the anticrepuscular ray showed up for just a few minutes. It was awesome! Cuatro Ciénegas Basin, by the way, is a very special place as it host bacteria (particularly cianobacteria) thas has had very little evolution since 3.5 billion years ago, which "build" stromatolites in the abundant ponds of the Valley, which is another special feature, as we are located in the middle of the Chihuahuan Desert and yet have more than 500 water ponds acres the Basin.
