Not even sure this works uploading this type of a composite image in this ratio format.

But if so....there's the Milky Way across my sky that night in mid June 2021. From my very first successful session at astrophotography.

My initial low investment of $300 USD on a used older model Canon DSLR body with a used Rokinon14mm lens and VERY cheap tripod proves what one can achieve on a budget before buying the 'good' expensive equipment.

While not up there with Pro quality gear and skills, I'm pleased with the rewards of my efforts thus far. Anyone thinking of trying it...GO FOR IT! Reaching for the stars and capturing them is worth it! Even on a budget based decision to test the waters.

Canon T3i, Rokinon 14mm lens, tripod. Low initial cash outlay to see if this was something to pursue and enjoy. $300.00 USD for everything.

Now? Two months after this pic was taken. A solid Yes!

Color and contrast editing. Three single exposures. About 20-25 seconds each.
