The photo shows bright Venus and Mars (190 times fainter) 1.6° apart and approaching. They are heading for a close conjunction on the evening of July 12, when only 0.5° will separate the pair. Tomorrow, the young moon will also join the amazing display at dusk, making it even more delightful.
