Breeding season at the Red-winged Blackbird. The male (black with red-yellow "epaulettes") sang from the top of a tree (left photo). Then he flew down and performed a ritual dance: he spread his wings, fluffed his tail and in this position walked, wagging, about two meters (photo in the center). After that, he flew to a lying tree, where he repeated his dance in front of the female (right photo). The color of females is camouflage: brown and heavily streaked. She sits under the inclined trunk on the right. Red-winged blackbirds are polygamous, and several females nest on the territory of the male.
