We went as far south in NM as we could go. Did not have a passport to enter Mexico at the border junction, so annulus not exactly centered but was still great to experience. It was a perfectly clear day in a desert environment. We were the only three there until another group showed up; three physicists from San Francisco. They gave us great insights into the fine details of eclipses!
