The brightest stars of the constellation Corona Borealis resemble a crown, thus its name “northern crown.” In classical mythology Corona Borealis represents the crown given by the god Dionysus to princess Ariadne and set by her in the heavens. Arcturus is the brightest star in the constellation Bootes The Herdsman. Billows of clouds are rising from the Pacific Ocean horizon and later they hid the stars. The brightest light on the horizon is a fishing boat light, the middle white light and red light are buoy lights. They serve to guide the boats from the Depoe Bay Harbor going out into and back from the ocean.
