I woke up at 3:00 a.m. this morning as I knew it would be a clear night for photographing the milky way. I was in the middle of an exposure when I saw something to the left of me and turned to see this bright meteor in the sky. It was an excruciating several seconds before my camera finished exposing so I could capture it. I photographed it for 36 seconds in four exposures until it faded. An incredible experience!
10 sec. f/1.8 35mm, ISO 4000

Nikon D5600, 35mm Nikkor lens, tripod,

In Lightroom I adjusted the temperature of the photo, made lens corrections, and reduced highlights, increased contrast.
