There was to be no looking at the stars tonight in the Yamanashi Prefecture, as a storm was coming in. There was rumor of thunderstorms. After hearing a few rumbles I decided that I would try to catch a lightning strike. I have neve done this before. Checked the internet for some settings and this is the result. Back to the picture. This is facing south. On a clear day, I see Mt. Fuji from my second story window. As this is Japan, there are phonelines galore.

ISO 400, f/5.6 for 2 second.

Lightroom to handle the overexposure and then to Photoshop to export to JPG. I am really a newbie to post processing. Just got a 4 month trial on Photoshop and LR. I also cropped out a bit of the bottom of the photo, as it is the roof of my 1st floor.
