A sole rose-ringed parakeet (Psittacula krameri), also known as the ring-necked parakeet, a medium-sized parrot in the genus Psittacula, of the family Psittacidae spotted momentarily when I looked out of my window. It was chirping noisily for a few minutes offering me a chance to spot where it was. There it was a distance about 200 m across my window perched on a tree branch. It flew away quickly just when I managed to take only 3 shots.
The rose-ringed parakeet is sexually dimorphic. This bird pictured here is an adult male distinguished by its a red and black neck ring .In the wild, rose-ringed parakeets usually feed on buds, fruits, vegetables, nuts, berries, and seeds.
