About forty minutes before sunset, twelve turkey vultures suddenly appeared in the sky at the same time. I've never seen such a large flock of vultures before. They flew in circles, went away and came back, went up and down. This fantastic spectacle lasted a minute (only a minute, a whole long minute!), and they disappeared from view.
