Shot facing NNW across the Ashokan Reservoir toward Shokan NY, USA. Location rated C4 Bortle Scale which is one of the darker areas in the seriously light polluted Southern NY State. When initially reviewing my images I thought this was a meteor coming directly at the camera but I realized the meteor exploded in mid flight.
