These water lily plant had its flowers closed in the evening throughout the night only to open again in the early morning. A section of the lily pads seen here in a neighbourhood pond here in the north of Singapore. We have seen many photos of the flowers blooming , but wanted to take this picture when the flowers had closed. Certainly these plants are really nature's wonder.
