A few days ago, on a branch in front of my window, I observed courtship and mating ritual of mourning doves. After a joint flight, it includes approaching each other, nodding their heads, ritual feeding and mating. On the picture: ritual feeding.
Last year, a couple of mourning doves nested on a lantern in front of my window, and I was lucky to observe their life from courtship to chicks emerging and growing up.
