This photo of the pink necked green pigeon may seem to have been photoshopped but that is not the case. This male pigeon was resting on a tree branch, while taking some photographs of it, a green double decker bus happened to pass by the road below forming a green background. It was a single shot and subsequent shots made expose the road behind this bird. Interesting this is a male species of the bird and it is distinguished by its green plumage with greyish head, pinkish nape, neck and upperbreast, orange central breast and dark chestnut undertail-coverts. Looking closely into its eyes in this picture is the sun that had risen in the east being reflected on its pupil.
