Last night's full moon gave a pleasant and surprising experience. The photo which appears red on the left was taken around 6.30 pm, just as the moon had risen. Then when looked up again at about 8.45 pm, it looked yellowish. I wondered what caused this phenomenon, and guessed that it must be due to the hot evening atmosphere of the earth.
