A solo male pink-necked green pigeon (Treron vernans), a bird species from the pigeon and dove family, Columbidae resting on a tree here today. The bird is commonly found in Southeast Asia, found from Myanmar and Vietnam south through to the major islands of Indonesia and the Philippines. The male has a pink neck that gives the species its name. It is not considered to be at risk of extinction.
