"Bald Point Milky Way Panorama"
This is a 180 degree early morning 6 image panorama shot from the Bald Point State Park FL boardwalk. The scene overlooks the Apalachee Bay area outside of Wakulla FL. The night was crisp and cool (36f) with very low relative humidity, and no clouds.
The distant light pollution areas are 40-100 miles away across the Gulf of Mexico on the FL peninsula. 20 minutes later, the Milky Way was fading and giving into sunrise at 7:12am. To get this shot, I woke up at 1:30 and drove 2.5hrs in order to arrive in time to get 30 minutes of night sky.
