Without meaning to, by pure luck, the Winter Hexagon and the Winter Triangle got into this picture. Capella and Pollux barely making it at the very top of the frame. The stars soon became faint, then disappeared from the sky after I took the photo as the marine cloud had already moved up creeping from the north, seen on the right side of photo. Incidentally I first learned about the Winter Hexagon and the Winter Triangle from EarthSky. Thank you EarthSky!
