I know this isn’t the greatest photo and I am not a photographer. But after seeing these clouds and being intrigued I looked them up which brought me here. This was not sunrise or sunset and not over water. This was mid-afternoon in the desert. We are experiencing at weather change from clear and dry (for months and months) to finally expected rain tomorrow. I think the low pressure change is the cause of this cloud formation, so I thought I would share for others who might find these “rare” clouds in rarer conditions than they usually form, interesting.
