Alongside two telescopes in an Ahwatukee (Phoenix AZ) backyard, I used my Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with the RF f/16 600mm and RF 1.4 extender mounted on a small iOptron tracker. This was my first time using this system for high-magnification astrophotography and it did not disappoint. I have never had a more stable system; the lens focus did not budge at all throughout the night.

I have never had a more stable system; the lens focus did not budge at all throughout the night. 🤩

I have had quantum leaps in my Lightroom and Photoshop skills over the past 2 days in the effort to work up my conjunction images! Here are my final composites from multiple images for each of four different exposure sets for (1) Jupiter, (2) Jupiter moons, (3) Saturn, and (4) Saturn moons. A few stars were also captured and included in the composite images. Hours were spent aligning, stacking, and averaging but I feel this is a true representation of the night's amazing event.
