I went out to Clinton Lake in Lawrence, Kansas to get a few shots of the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. It was an unusually-warm, calm winter solstice night, which was perfect for shooting the night sky. The planets were easy to spot when I arrived at the lake, as they were casting a single bright reflection across the lake!
