Bright sun turned to a wall of dark gray fog, then dramatic dark cloud formations over the ocean at Pacifica Pier before the solstice sunset. On no! Would we miss the "Star of Bethlehem" tonight? I stayed and took pix and video of the ominous sky turning into blushing sunset, thinking, believing, "these clouds will part in time for us to see it." Sure enough, the clouds cooperated. And there they were, shining planets, bright white peas in a pod hovering above the pier. Unfortunately my iPhone didn't cooperate as well as the clouds, but you get the picture.
