I planned to photograph the conjunction every night this week, but this was the first clear sky all week (fingers crossed for the peak tomorrow!). It was astounding how close they are! I tried a variety of settings over the course of about 100 exposures, and was fortunate to get a fairly low turbulence moment for this, making it good enough to edit alone and not worry about creating a composite.
