Orion and M-42 well on the rise over Florida bay. The light domes on the horizon are from the Florida keys about 30 miles away across the bay. Viewing this stellar nursery with the naked eye it appears as a fuzzy patch, but the 20 second exposure to the camera sensor turns it into the brightest object in the frame with a pinkish hue.
