We bid farewell to Sunspot AR 2786. If it survives its journey around the sun it will be renamed. AR 2786 is large the biggest sunspot we have seen in years, it is large so it may return a couple of weeks from now. Departing sunspot AR 2786 as seen to me this morning through the Jaegers refractor.
