Using a 10-second timer delay and a 10-second exposure, I was able to join my husband in the frame as we looked for Leonids on a completely clear night. This was taken a few nights before the peak of the Leonid shower, but we still saw at least a dozen meteors during a two-hour period in the Astronomy Field at Pogue Creek Canyon that night. Even though we were in a Dark Sky Park, we still captured some light pollution to the northwest that helped capture our silhouettes.
