A Leonid Fireball in Leo. The meteor shower was mostly disappointing. I maybe saw one visually in an hour. But I set up the camera in the backyard and took 30 second subs throughout the night. Found this nice fireball spread out amongst three successive subs. I've faintly indicated a few nearby constellations.
Tripod-mounted (Ha modified) Canon T2i with 18-55mm (stock) zoom lens operating at ~24mm.
Image derived from three, 30-second subs. So this was in the air over a minute! Subs pieced together using PS. Star trails reduced. Brightness/contrast adjusted to taste.
