I saw the Moon and Mars from my backyard in Denver and knew that I would need two exposures to show both properly. I did exposures for each and then combined the correctly exposed moon with the correctly exposed Mars to make this image.

Nikon D5, Nikkor 200-400mm f/4, Benro Tripod

Two images were taken with one expose for the Moon and one exposure for Mars. I replaced the blown out moon on the Mars expose with the properly exposed moon. No other adjustments were made.
