A mute swan (Cygnus olor) , a species of swan and a member of the waterfowl family Anatidae in the Botanical Gardens here in Singapore. A pair of mute swans was imported from Amsterdam and introduced into the Swan Lakem which is feature of the Botanic Gardens since 1866. The swan is native to much of Eurosiberia, and (as a rare winter visitor) the far north of Africa.
Infront of the swan is a monitor lizard swimming past.
