Jupiter (bigger dot) and Saturn (smaller dot) grace the Eastern night sky.

I was eagerly anticipating the rising of the near full Harvest Moon which was supposed to rise anytime on the back of the last building to the left, but the gathering dark clouds prevented it.

I heard sounds of thunder coming from a distance.

It started to rain just minutes after this photo was taken.

What a sight this would have been had only the moon arose even for just a few seconds for me to frame and photograph!
