This is an "unprocessed" image of the same target - Deneb in Cygnus region - that I posted yesterday. This is almost not processed at all, just stacked in Deepskystacker and adjusted saturation and made sure the color levels were correctly on top of each other. Apart from that, no heavy processing in photoshop. The nebulosity is not as striking here, neither are the dustbands, and sthe stars are not minimized to enhance the Milky Way as in the processed version, but I am completely amazed by the sheer numbers of stars visible in this image.

Think about the fact that scientist in the later years have come to the conclusion that planetsystems arounds, may be more common than we think.
