Went backpacking in the John Muir Wilderness for the Perseids this year. I set my camera up for a couple hours of photos between about 11 pm and 1 am. I used one of the photos from the tail end of the shoot as my base image as the moon had risen and started illuminating the mountains. I then aligned each of the nine photos with meteors in them relative to the sky in my base image and stacked the shooting star in. Once all aligned and stacked you can clearly see the meteors all originate from the same point in the sky, the radiant center, which lines up with the constellation Perseus!
