Smoke from the CZU Lightning Complex fire crested the Santa Cruz Mountains. This photo includes two layers of smoke. The lower band was being carried by the wind while the upper cloud just erupted. The structure in the photo is the Lehigh (formerly Kaiser Permanente) Cement Plant in Cupertino, CA
