I’m a photojournalist from Memphis, Tennessee. Don’t get to shoot a lot of night sky stuff for work in the city, so I figured I’d give astrophotography a shot at a near by state park. It’s a single, lightly edited photo per normal journalistic standards. Shutter Speed: 25 seconds, 35mm, ISO: 1250. In the photo NEOWISE can be see lighting up the northwest sky at Big Hill Pond State Park in west Tennessee shortly after sunset July 19, 2020.
