I had to manually focus on Jupiter since I could not even see the comet through the lens or on the camera LCD screen. It was trial and error to get the comet into the frame. Il try again with a faster lens to see if I can lower the ISO in hopes of a less noisy image.

Photo of Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) taken 7/18/2020 11:19 PM with my Canon 5D Mark IV using a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens. Camera set to manual focus, ISO 32000. Focal length was 227.0mm. Aperture 5.6 and shutter speed 1 sec. The camera was mounted on a Manfrotto 190 aluminum tripod using a Manfrotto XPRO Ball head.
