it took days to find this comet, even though I knew to look low just above the horizon, in the Northwest. it was far fainter than I expected, and easily hidden by low coulds. after finding what I thought could be a comet, I took several long exposures, at a incredible high iso sesitivity to finally see it on the camera screen. it was invisible in the finder. I would move the camera in small movement to align the frame. final exposure was six seconds.
