Eagle Nebula (M16, NGC 6611) - This was taken off of my driveway in light-polluted Ypsilanti, Michigan (about 25 miles west of downtown Detroit). My telescope and mount aren't well-suited to deep-sky astrophotography, but I'm a "windmill tilter", and like a challenge. I used SharpCap Pro's LiveStack feature, so I was able to get a pretty good idea of what results I was going to get, before I'd even put my telescope away. I've been delighted with the final results, post-processed with AstroPixelProcessor I used AstroPixelProcessor (APP) to do most of the work, and did some touch ups with Photoshop 2020 with the Astronomy Tools plugin from ProDigital with a little touch-up and labeling in Photoshop 2020.

Celestron 8" SCT, an iOptron AZ Mount Pro, a ZWO ASI294MC-Pro (cooled) camera and I used a Celestron f/6.3 focal reducer

There were 131 light frames, 50 darks, and 6 flats. The camera was cooled to 13C, exposures were 20 seconds long and gain was an "ungainly" 461, by mistake. I used SharpCap Pro for capture, AstroPixelProcessor (APP) to do most of the work, and did some touch ups with Photoshop 2020 with the Astronomy Tools plugin from ProDigital Software.
